At the National Sports Center, Bailey’ Bay were crowned the Bermuda Cricket Board 50 Premier Division Champions following their 35 run victory over Eastern County rivals Cleveland County.
The match was reduced to 20 overs after morning rain delayed the start of the match, Bailey’s Bay won the toss and elected to bat, Delray Rawlins was the top scorer with 78, he scored his runs off 51 balls, hitting 5 fours and 6 sixes. Dion Stovell was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers returning figures of 4-0-10-1.
In reply, Cleveland County scored 95/7, Allan Douglas II was the top scorer with 23, while Irving Romaine was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 4-0-23-4.
