The Bermuda National Athletics Associations 2019 Cross Country Season got underway at the Arboretum.
A total of 81 competitors took up the challenging course to begin the season, Sean Trott won the Open Men’s Division with a time of 16:39.1 over 3 miles, while Gayle Lindsay won the Women’s Open Division clocking a time of 12:50.5 covering 2 miles.
Omari hart won the Men’s Masters Division race with a time of 12:50.0 over 2 miles, with the Women’s Masters Division race going to Kemda Bean who clocked 21:24.3.
With a time of 21:11.8 Meron Simons won the Women’s Under 18 Division and Ryan Outerbridge won the Under 18 Division race clocking 16:56.9.
