Ashley Couper retuned to the running scene picking up the 2018 PartnerRe Women’s 5K title at the Botanical Gardens.
Couper who left the sport with an injury and has spent some time on the Cycling Circuit crossed the line in a time of 19:32, Estienne Coetzee was second in 19:52, while Gayle Lindsay rounded out the podium with a time of 20:12.
Finishing in fourth place was Christine Dailey who stopped the clock in 20:15 and Jessie Marshall would complete the top five finishers with a time of 21:00.
