Ming Moves to Northwood

IslandStats.com
Hayes Football Club have announced that in order for Damon Ming to get some competitive first team football, manager Kevin Hill has agreed for him to play for Northwood in The British Gas Business Southern League under a dual registration.

The British Gas Business Southern League is a Non-League Football Division.

Ming who was very vocal when about the way things are handled locally when Bermuda went out of the Digicel Cup, has not complained about not seeing regular football this season for his club. A club spokesperson said, ”Ming has been frustrated for sometime about not seeing regular football but will now get a chance to play in a Non-League Lower Division to try and prove himself”. The spokesperson continued, “I can only assume that Ming is silent so that he does not upset the two sponsors back in Bermuda”.

Ming started out the season in the Hayes First team but was then moved to the reserves, after failing to claim a regular spot in the reserve team, Ming has now moved.

In his first match Ming had an impressive debut, as a goal in each half was enough to deservedly give Northwood the points at mid-table Banbury United this afternoon. Peter Dean made amends for an earlier miss from the penalty spot - Woods' top scorer he hit the bar - when he put the side ahead just before the break, and Bradley Hewitt made it 2-0 ten minutes into the second period.
