Devwah Whaley helped to guide the Dresden Monarchs to the German Bowl title in Frankfurt with a 28 – 19 win over the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns.
Whaley had 30 carries for 152 yards, with his longest run of 12 yards being the Touch Down Run.
Since Whaley arrived late in the GFL season, he has had an impact, giving Dresden a powerful ground game to complement their already league-leading aerial game. He was averaging over 100 yards per game and made Dresden tough to defend.
