With the Coronavirus continuing to dominate the World, we spoke with Bermuda Olympian Jillian Terceira about how she and her family are adjusting to the crisis?
Terceira said, “My family & horses are safe. My biggest challenge during this crisis is keeping my horses fresh and alert. They can get bored not travelling and not jumping at shows.”
We then asked Terceira what she is doing to keep your horses safe, “We no longer do any training off of the yard. No Regional, National or International shows, we’ve had CSI International Competitions already cancelled that were scheduled for June. Belgium’s borders are closed so there is no travelling with horses,” replied Terceira.
With so much uncertainty about an end to the quarantine, Terceira was asked when she is hoping to be able to get back into competition, “We are hoping we’ll be able to start up Regional & National Competitions within Belgium in May.”
