Robin Stempel IslandStats.com This Sunday November 5th Bermuda’s Dressage riders will compete against 36 countries for the 37th annual FEI World Dressage Challenge, a competition which bridges National and International levels of competition in the Dressage community.
Adult riders include Angela Halloran- Smith, Claire Salmon, Dawn Fox, Jackie Scott and Virginia McKey who has previously represented Bermuda in Dressage events overseas.
The junior riders representing will be Kelsey Amos, Christian Truran, Casey Truran and Robin Stempel.
All riders will have to conform to International Rules and procedures for this FEI competition, with international veterinarians and judges flying into Bermuda to officiate the day.
Bermuda Dressage Group President Angela Halloran-Smith is hoping for an improvement on last year’s team result of 11th, “We were thrilled with the result last year, out of 37 countries, but this time we are determined to crack the top 10”.

The first ride will be at 11am at the National Equestrian Centre, Vesey St, Devonshire.
