Virginia McKey took to the ring for Day Two of the 2015 Pan American Games Dressage.
Competing in the Prix St. Georges, McKey and her horse Wolkenglanz began the day in 35th, they were the ninth pair to enter the Ring for the day.
They recorded a score of 61.421% on Day 1 and they scored 62.816%.
President and Ground Judge M Elizabeth McMullen gave the pair a score of 63.421%, Judge E Hans Matthiesen scored them 62.763%. Judge H Stephen Clarke scored McKey and Wolkenglanz 63.026%.
Lilo Fore was the Judge at B and scored the pair 62.105% and Judge C Maribel Alonso recorded a score of 62.763% for the pair.
McKey stated after the performance, “Wolkenglanz was amazing, I made several mistakes, I pushed too hard and it was a learning lesson.”
“Going in we were both totally relaxed, having my support team here was incredible,” continued McKey.
Heidi Shelley-Mello said, “McKey has to remember that she has brought this young horse along, I thought she did a remarkable job.”
