Adam Hall returned to action as his teammate Ryan Wilson turned in his second straight six-inning gem, propelling the Delmarva Shorebirds to their 50th win of the season and ninth shutout, a 3-0 clean sheet over the Greensboro Grasshoppers at First National Bank Field.
Playing in his first game since June 9, Hall got a rally going in the fourth with a leadoff single. Doran Turchin then slashed a base hit to left, allowing Hall to take third. Cadyn Grenier attacked the first pitch and lifted it to center for a sac fly, scoring Hall to break the ice and put Delmarva up 1-0.
Hall finished 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI for the Shorebirds; the Orioles' No. 14 prospect also turned a nifty double play in the fifth with a sliding stop at second and shovel pass to Grenier on the bag for a 4-6-3.
