The Single-A South Atlantic League hosted its All-Star game in Charleston, West Virginia.
The first-half Northern Division champion Delmarva Shorebirds sent eight players to the game, most of any team in the league. Pitchers Grayson Rodriguez, Drew Rom, Ofelky Peralta, and Zach Matson will join catcher Daniel Fajardo, shortstop Adam Hall, outfielder Doran Turchin, and designated hitter Seamus Curran are on the Northern Division team for the Sally League’s 60th annual midsummer classic.
Hall, who is batting .321/.398/.420 has missed the last several Shorebirds games while on the inactive list.
He is not hurt and will be returning to game action when the second half starts on Thursday.
Hall did not have an at bat in the All-Star Game that saw the North pick up a 6 – 2 win.
