In Commercial Summer League Softball action at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond saw a Triple header that produced a total of 91 runs cross the plate.
In the opener the Shooters defeated Corrections 10 – 4, Danny Cook went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 Double, 1 Home Run and 4RBI’s for the Shooters, while Freeman Smith went 2 for 2 from the plate with 1 Home Run and 2RBI’s for Corrections.
The Skylights then defeated the Angels 14 – 13, Rebecca Schoeler went 3 for 3 with a Triple and 2RBI’s for the Skylights and Jessie Ewart went 3 for 4 with 3RBI’s for the Angels.
The final match of the night produced 50 runs as the Chubb Kings defeated the Paraquet Flyers 34 – 16. Mike Malott went 5 for 6 from the plate with 2 Doubles and 7RBI’s for the Chubb Kings, while Andrew Simpson went 3 for 4 with 1 Double, 1 Home Run and 4RBI’s for the Paraquet Flyers.
