Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron added another victory to his impressive North American campaign after guiding Senor Bill to a dramatic dead-heat win at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana.
Lining up in Race 10 over the trot, Waldron produced a textbook drive in the sulky, timing his surge to perfection down the home stretch. In an electrifying finish where nothing separated the front pair at the wire, Senor Bill shared top honours with Kyle Wilfong aboard Sister Lizzy, with both horses stopping the clock in an identical 1 minute 59.1 seconds.
The dead-heat triumph marked yet another highlight for Waldron, who has established himself as a consistent, winning presence on the highly competitive Indiana circuit throughout the season.
Waldron returned to the track later in the evening for Race 14 over the pace behind Trevors Redhotgirl. Facing a brisk, competitive field, he navigated the mile in 1:55.3 to cross the wire in ninth place, rounding off an eventful two-race programme.
