Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron found himself on the wrong side of a photo finish on his return to action at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Indiana, narrowly missing out on victory in a pulsating seventh race.
Steering Odds On Candy in the Pace Class contest, Waldron pushed the leaders all the way to the wire in what proved to be one of the tightest and fastest finishes of the evening.
Waldron crossed the line in a blistering time of 1:52.2, finishing just one-tenth of a second behind race winner Tellit Candy, driven by John De Long, who clinched top spot in 1:52.1.
Despite setting a fierce pace down the home straight, the fractional deficit was enough to push Waldron and Odds On Candy into fourth position amid a congested charge across the finishing line.
