Bermuda’s squash players will look to make their mark in the doubles competition as action continues at the XXVII Pan American Squash Championships in Asunción, Paraguay.
In the men’s doubles draw, the Bermudian tandem of Anaya Smith and D'Vario Thompson received an opening-round bye and will now face a stern second-round test against the United States pairing of Dillon Huang and Nicholas Spizzirri.
Meanwhile, Bermuda will also feature in the women’s doubles, where Rachel Barnes and Sydney Wallace are set to take to the court against Costa Rica’s Giselle Delgado and Anita Pinto.
The prestigious regional championship serves as a key international testing ground, with the island's contingent aiming for strong performances as the doubles events get under way.
