Kiwon Waldron came within inches of victory after a dramatic three-way photo finish in harness racing action at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Indiana.
Competing in Race Two of the Pace class, Waldron guided Stop The Vanity to the wire in an official time of 1:54.0, matching the winning time recorded by the top three finishers.
With all three horses crossing the line together, race officials were forced to review the finish-line photograph before confirming the final placings.
Following the review, El Jute, driven by Atlee Bender, was declared the winner, while Waldron and Stop The Vanity were awarded second place. Clear Guidance, with Marcus Miller in the bike, completed the podium in third.
The razor-thin margins highlighted the competitiveness of the race, with just fractions separating the leading trio despite all being credited with the same finishing time.
Although narrowly denied victory, Waldron's runner-up finish was another encouraging performance as the Bermudian continued his campaign on the highly competitive Indiana harness racing circuit.
