Bermudian show jumping prospect Jess Hosier has been hailed as one of the island's standout rising under-25 talents following an impressive breakthrough campaign across Europe.
Partnering with her prominent chestnut gelding, Under The Spotlight, Hosier successfully transitioned to the elite FEI CSI1* international circuit during the 2025–2026 season.
The young rider tested herself against heavily competitive international fields across Great Britain, Spain, and the Netherlands, making a seamless step up to the demanding 1.30m division.
The Bermuda Equestrian Federation expressed immense pride in Hosier’s rapid progression, which saw the duo secure a string of consistent rounds during a grueling stint at the prestigious Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, Spain.
The overseas experience quickly yielded top-tier results on British soil. Competing at Chard in Great Britain, Hosier and Under The Spotlight navigated a technically challenging course to pick up a superb eighth-place finish in the high-stakes CSI1* 1.30m Accumulator.
Hosier carried that fine form into Hampshire, delivering another standout performance at Wellington International.
Faced with a fiercely competitive field, she executed a brilliant, calculated round to secure a sixth-place finish in the prestigious CSI1* 1.25m Big Tour Final.
Having proven her capability to match strides with seasoned European competitors, Hosier’s successful overseas campaign provides Bermuda with a major boost on the global equestrian stage as she continues her climb through the under-25 ranks.
