Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a phenomenal night back in action at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, turning the Pace Class winners’ circle into familiar ground. The Bermudian harness driver piloted three different horses to victory, underscoring his outstanding skill and form on the competitive US circuit.
The hot streak began immediately in Race 1 (Pace Class). Waldron, in collaboration with Mccomber Racing, brought a new horse, Odds On Candy, from the recent sale, and the partnership proved instantly fruitful. They took to the track for their first race together and promptly finished in the winners' circle with a time of 1:55&3.
Waldron quickly followed up that initial win in Race 4 (Pace Class), where he was in the sulky of Tell's Pure Power. In a thrilling finish, the pair battled fiercely to the line and were declared the winner after a photo finish, clocking a speedy time of 1:52&4—a testament to Waldron's ability to drive a tight finish.
The driver sealed his masterful night in Race 10 (Pace Class). Waldron partnered with Six Sticks Of Gum, expertly guiding them to his third win of the night with a winning time of 1:54&3.
While the Pace Class delivered the headlines, Waldron also competed in the Trot events and his final Pace race of the night:
Race 12 (Trot Class): Waldron and Fashion Baby finished 7th, recording a time of 1:59 flat. Race 13 (Pace Class): Waldron and Jk's Champ finished 7th, stopping the clock in 1:54&3.
The three victories in a single night underscore Waldron’s stature as one of the most successful international drivers competing regularly at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
