Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a successful return to familiar ground at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, culminating in a win to cap off his night of action.
Waldron secured a victory in his final race, providing a strong finish to a busy midweek card that featured action across both the Trot and Pace classes.
The night began with Race 1 in the Trot Class, where Waldron drove Foolish Pride to a fourth-place finish with a time of 2:01&4.
In the first of his Pace Class outings, Waldron partnered with Ponda Lambo in Race 3, racing strongly to secure a second-place finish, clocking 1:55&3.
Race 6 then saw Waldron aboard Rockin The Jackpot. Despite a fast time of 1:55&2, the pair finished eighth in the competitive Pace Class field.
Waldron saved the best for last in Race 8. Piloting Six Sticks of Gum in the Pace Class, Waldron delivered the win, guiding the horse to a triumphant finish in a time of 1:54&4, putting the Bermudian back in the winner's circle at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
