Bermudian harness driver Kiwon Waldron had a successful four-race outing at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, securing two crucial podium finishes across the Pace and Trot classes.
Waldron demonstrated consistent speed, with his best results coming in the early races of the night:
Race 3 (Pace Class): Waldron guided Six Sticks Of Gum to a strong second-place finish, stopping the clock in a swift 1 minute, 53.1 seconds. This was the fastest time recorded by a Waldron-driven horse on the night. Race 2 (Trot Class): In his opening race, Waldron was in the bike of Melissa P, securing a podium spot with a third-place finish in a time of 1:55.2.
The rest of the card saw Waldron secure another top-five finish before dropping off the pace in the final race:
Race 10 (Trot Class): Waldron and Foolish Pride crossed the line fourth, clocking 1:59 flat. Race 13 (Trot Class): In the final race of the night, Waldron and Classy As Gold finished ninth with a time of 2:01.4.
Waldron's ability to consistently place horses in the top three and top five across a busy schedule highlights his competitive form on the demanding US harness racing circuit.
