The Singles Draws have been made for the XXVI Pan American Squash Championship set to get underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Bermuda players in the singles are not ranked with Micah Franklin stressing that the team event is what they are focussing on, as that is the event that will serve as a qualifier for next year's CAC Games in the Dominican Republic. To secure a spot, Bermuda must finish in the top five among eligible countries.
In the Men’s Singles Main Draw, Taylor Carrick has a bye in the Round of 64, while Micah Franklin will face off against Rafael Galvez from Peru.
In the Women's Main Singles Draw Round of 32, Sydney Wallace will face Rhea Khan from Trinidad, and Abigail Brewer will take on Laura Silva from Brazil.
