Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron has made a strong showing at the Governors Cup Finals at the Indiana State Fair, highlighted by a thrilling second-place photo finish.
In the most exciting race of the night, Waldron, in the bike of Derek's Rocket, took to the track for Race 6 in the Pace class. The pair battled fiercely to the finish line, with a photo finish required to separate the top two. They were ultimately declared second with an impressive time of 1:52&4.
Waldron also competed in three other races throughout the evening. He finished eighth in Race 1 in the Pace class with Ambehaving, clocking a time of 1:57 flat. In his second Pace class race, he and Tyrastyrone finished 66th with a time of 1:55&4.
Concluding his evening, Waldron was in action in the Trot Class in Race 8. Driving Fake Fifty, he finished seventh, with a time of 2:04&2.
