Bermudian harness driver Kiwon Waldron was in action, competing in two qualifying races at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, securing two respectable top-four finishes.
The races, which serve as crucial qualifiers for drivers and horses to prepare for official competition, saw Waldron demonstrate his skill across both the Trot and Pace classes.
In his first outing of the day, Waldron was in the bike of "Ponda Perfect" for RACE 3 in the Trot Class. The pair put in a strong performance, crossing the line in 3rd place with a time of 2 minutes, 2 and 4-fifths seconds (2:02&4).
Waldron returned to the track later for RACE 6, this time in the Pace Class. He guided "Joyful Rising" to a fourth-place finish, stopping the clock in a time of 2 minutes, 2 and 2-fifths seconds (2:02&2).
These consistent performances in a highly competitive environment underscore Waldron's ongoing presence and active participation on the busy North American harness racing circuit.
