Harness racing driver Kiwon Waldron was in action at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, competing in two qualifying races. Qualifying races are non-pari-mutuel events designed to ensure horses and drivers are fit and ready for competitive racing, meeting specific time requirements and demonstrating proper gait.
In his first qualifying race of the day, RACE 3 in the Trot Class, Waldron was in the bike of Enchanted Mission. They finished 4th with a time of 1 minute, 57 seconds flat (1:57.0).
RACE 4 was also in the Trot Class, with Waldron driving Classy As Gold. They finished 4th again, clocking 2 minutes, 4 and four-fifths seconds (2:04&4).
These qualifying efforts are crucial for Waldron and his horses to maintain their eligibility and prepare for future competitive races at Hoosier Park.
