Adam Hall's Biloxi Shuckers teammates secured a hard-fought 5-2 victory over the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Keesler Federal Park on Tuesday night. While Bermudian Adam Hall was not in the lineup for this particular game, his team's patient approach at the plate and strong pitching performances were key to their success.
The Shuckers demonstrated excellent plate discipline, drawing 11 walks to tie their season-high, and reached base a total of 19 times throughout the contest. This consistent pressure on the Trash Pandas' pitching ultimately paid dividends.
On the mound, Alexander Cornielle and Abdiel Mendoza delivered strong outings, keeping the Rocket City bats largely in check.
With this win, the Shuckers continue to build momentum as they progress through their season. They will look to maintain their form when they continue the series on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. at Keesler Federal Park. K.C. Hunt is slated to start for the Shuckers, facing off against Samuel Aldegheri for the Trash Pandas.
