Bermudian harness racing driver Kiwon Waldron had a productive qualifying day at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, securing two third-place finishes across his three races.
Waldron's first outing came in RACE 2, a Pace Class event. In the bike of Ponda Lambo, they put in a solid performance, crossing the line in third place with a time of 1 minute, 54 and one-fifth seconds (1:54&1).
He then competed in RACE 5, a Trot Class contest, driving Ponda Perfect. They finished in fourth position, stopping the clock at 2 minutes, 4 and one-fifth seconds (2:04&1).
Waldron's final race of the qualifying session was in RACE 7, another Pace Class event. He was in the bike of Barefootonthebeach, and they secured another third-place finish with a time of 1 minute, 57 and four-fifths seconds (1:57&4).
These qualifying heats are crucial for horses and drivers to prepare for official races. Waldron's consistent top-three placings demonstrate his active presence and ongoing work on the competitive Hoosier Park circuit.
