Kiwon Waldron had a busy day at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, competing in qualifying races across both Pace and Trot Classes.
Waldron participated in a total of five races, gaining valuable track time and experience.
His first race of the day was RACE 1 (Pace Class), where he drove Candy's Real Crush to a fifth-place finish, clocking a time of 2 minutes, 2 and four-fifths of a second (2:02.4).
In RACE 2 (Trot Class), Waldron was in the bike of Dream Of The Top, crossing the line in 2 minutes, 3 and two-fifths of a second (2:03.2) to finish seventh.
He then drove Johnny Broad in RACE 4 (Trot Class), finishing sixth with a time of 2 minutes, 3 and two-fifths of a second (2:03.2).
Back in the Pace Class for RACE 6, Waldron and Bluebirdmoderngirl finished fifth, recording a time of 2 minutes flat (2:02.0).
Waldron's final race of the night was RACE 10 (Pace Class), where he drove Wine Party to a seventh-place finish with a time of 1 minute, 58 flat (1:58.0).
While Waldron didn't secure a win or podium finish in these qualifying races, his consistent participation across multiple classes demonstrates his commitment to the sport, and the experience gained will be valuable as the Hoosier Park season progresses.
