He was quickly back in action in Race 2, a Trot class race, where he partnered Rock Party to another sixth-place finish, recording a time of 1 minute, 57 and one-fifth of a second (1:57.1).
The Pace action continued in Race 3, with Waldron aboard Midnite's Pro, finishing in sixth place once again with a time of 1 minute, 55 and one-fifth of a second (1:55.1).
In Race 4, another Pace event, Waldron and Bull Market faced a larger field, finishing ninth with a time of 1 minute, 55 and four-fifths of a second (1:55.4).
Waldron secured a fifth-place finish in Race 8, a Pace class race, driving Firing Onall Fours and stopping the clock in 1 minute, 54 flat (1:54.0).
The breakthrough came in Race 9, a Trot class event. Waldron expertly guided Wiggy Hill to the front of the pack in the final 100 meters, driving to a well-judged victory with a winning time of 1 minute, 57 and three-fifths of a second (1:57.3).
There was little time for celebration as Waldron was straight back on the track for Race 10, a Trot class race, where he drove Great Flick to a fifth-place finish in 1 minute, 57 and four-fifths of a second (1:57.4).
His final drive of the night came in Race 13, the last race of the card, a Pace class event. Waldron was in the sulky of Youda Shark, finishing seventh with a time of 1 minute, 55 and one-fifth of a second (1:55.1).
