Kiwon Waldron had a memorable start to his birthday week, celebrating with a win at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Indiana. Waldron had a busy night, competing in five races across both the Pace and Trot disciplines.
The victory came early in the evening, in the very first race. RACE 1, a Pace Class event, saw Waldron in the sulky behind Miki's Big Guy. The pair powered to the finish line, clocking a winning time of 1 minute, 52 and four-fifths of a second (1:52.4).
Waldron continued his night in RACE 2, a Trot Class event. Driving Wiggy Hill, they put in a solid performance to finish third with a time of 1 minute and 58 flat (1:58.0).
In RACE 5, another Trot Class race, Waldron partnered with Great Flick, finishing sixth with a time of 1 minute, 59 and one-fifth of a second (1:59.1).
Switching back to the Pace Class for RACE 8, Waldron was in the bike of Antiguas Image. They crossed the line in fifth place with a time of 1 minute and 56 flat (1:56.0).
Waldron's final drive of the night came in RACE 14, another Pace Class event. He partnered with Youda Shark, finishing fifth with a time of 1 minute and 56 flat (1:56.0).
Securing a win on the first race of his birthday week, alongside a podium finish, made for a successful night for Kiwon Waldron at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
