Bermuda Softball Run-Fest Continues

The Michael Preece Softball Diamond once again witnessed a night of high-octane offensive action as the Bermuda Softball League season continued with three high-scoring encounters. A total of 60 runs crossed the plate, keeping the enthusiastic crowd entertained under the lights.

The opening game saw the Pitch Invaders secure a decisive 17-9 victory over the Fundamental Standpoints. Kontai Burton led the charge for the Pitch Invaders with a perfect night at the plate, going 4 for 4 and hitting a double, a triple, and a home run while driving in six runs. Despite the loss, the Fundamental Standpoints also showcased their hitting power, with [Player Name - needs to be extracted from "went 2 for 4" which seems incomplete in the prompt] going 2 for 4 with two home runs and six RBIs.

The second game of the night saw the Raggamuffins deliver a dominant performance, defeating the Bad News Beers by a significant 22-4 margin. John Payne was the star for the Raggamuffins, going a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate, including two doubles, a home run, and driving in an impressive seven runs. Granville Lines provided a bright spot for the Bad News Beers, going 3 for 3 with two doubles and two RBIs.

The final game of the evening saw Team Smokey secure a comfortable 21-6 victory over Killa Watts. Deigo McCallan led the offensive charge for Team Smokey, going 3 for 3 with a double, a home run, and five RBIs. For Killa Watts, Andre Landy also went 3 for 3, hitting a home run and driving in three runs.

Another night of high-scoring softball action in Bermuda, with impressive offensive displays across all three games.
