Another night of high-octane action unfolded at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond in Bermuda, with three slugfests delivering a grand total of 79 runs for the enthusiastic fans.
The opening game saw the BGA Hammers deliver a resounding performance, overpowering the B&V Sliders with a dominant 19-2 victory. The Hammers' bats were in fine form, leaving the Sliders struggling to keep pace. Jackee Simons led the charge for the BGA Hammers, going a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate, including two doubles, a towering home run, and driving in three runs. For the B&V Sliders, Zakai McIntosh managed two hits in three at-bats, driving in their solitary run.
The second match of the night proved to be a much tighter affair, with the OddBalls narrowly edging out the One Hit Wonders in a thrilling 19-18 encounter. This back-and-forth contest kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final out. Adam Fenos was the offensive powerhouse for the OddBalls, going a remarkable 6 for 6 at the plate, hitting a double, a triple, a home run, and driving in four runs. Samuel Vieira stood out for the One Hit Wonders, going 3 for 5 with a double, a home run, and five RBIs, but his efforts weren't quite enough to secure the win for his team.
The final game of the evening saw Bat & Bougie deliver a strong performance, defeating the Slug Pirates by a comfortable 18-3 margin. Callum Maule led the offensive onslaught for Bat & Bougie, going 3 for 4 with a double, a home run, and an impressive six RBIs. For the Slug Pirates, Graham Gibbons managed two hits in three at-bats, driving in one run.
