IslandStats.com
The Michael Preece Softball Diamond played host to another action-packed night in the Bermuda Softball League, with two high-scoring encounters delivering a total of 55 runs for the enthusiastic crowd.

The opening game of the double header saw the Paraquet Flyers put on a dominant offensive display, soaring to a decisive 26-4 victory over the Beach Bums. The Flyers' bats were red-hot throughout the contest, overwhelming the Beach Bums' defence.

Lewis Reynoso was the star of the show for the Paraquet Flyers, enjoying a phenomenal night at the plate. He went 4 for 5, racking up an impressive three doubles, one home run, and driving in six runs. His teammate Edgar Guerrero also had a stellar offensive performance, going 3 for 3 with a double, a home run, and five RBIs. Despite the Beach Bums' struggles, Reid Henderson provided a bright spot, going 3 for 3 at the plate and driving in two runs. However, his efforts couldn't stem the tide as the Paraquet Flyers secured a resounding win.

The nightcap provided a closer contest, with the Moongate Brewers ultimately edging out Platano Power in a 15-10 victory. While not as high-scoring as the opener, this game still featured plenty of offensive fireworks from both sides.

Terrance Corday led the charge for the Moongate Brewers, going 3 for 4 with a double, a home run, and three RBIs. For Platano Power, Yaulol Simons matched Corday's hit tally, also going 3 for 4 and hitting a home run while driving in four runs. Despite Simons' power hitting, the Moongate Brewers managed to outscore Platano Power and secure the win in a competitive encounter.

The latest round of Bermuda Softball League action showcased the offensive capabilities of several key players, with the Paraquet Flyers' explosive performance and the Moongate Brewers' hard-fought victory providing plenty of excitement under the lights at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond.
