Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a successful night at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Indiana, culminating in a victory during his three-race card. Waldron demonstrated his versatility across both the Trot and Pace disciplines.
His evening began in Race 2, a Trot event where Waldron piloted Simsam. The pair put in a solid performance, crossing the line in third place with a recorded time of 1:57.2. This provided a positive start to Waldron's night on the Indiana track.
Switching to the quicker gait of the Pace, Waldron took to the sulky in Race 3 aboard Miki's Big Guy. They navigated the mile distance in 1:53.4, ultimately finishing in sixth position in a competitive field.
However, Waldron saved his best performance for his final drive of the night in Race 7, another event in the Pace division. Partnering with Friendly's Scooter, Waldron expertly guided his charge to victory lane. The duo clocked a winning time of 1:54.2, marking a triumphant return to the winners' circle for the Bermudian driver.
This successful outing, featuring a podium finish and a well-deserved win, will undoubtedly provide a boost for Waldron as he continues to compete on the North American harness racing circuit. His ability to perform competitively in both Trot and Pace races highlights his skill and adaptability in the sulky.
