Kiwon Waldron made his return to the sulky at Harrah's Hoosier Park in Indiana, participating in a busy schedule of qualifying races across both the Trot and Pace disciplines, as well as a regular race.
Waldron's day began in the Qualifying Pace Class (Race 1), where he piloted My Girl Lizzie to a sixth-place finish, clocking a time of 1 minute and 57 seconds flat. He followed this up in Race 2, another Pace Class qualifier, guiding Meadowbrook Lady to seventh place with a time of 1 minute, 58 and two-fifths of a second.
Switching gait, Waldron then took to the track in the Qualifying Trott Class (Race 3) aboard Dan's Dandy. They crossed the finish line in seventh position, recording a time of 2 minutes, 4 and two-fifths of a second.
Back in the Qualifying Pace Class for Race 4, Waldron was in the bike of Youda Shark, finishing sixth with a time of 1 minute, 57 and four-fifths of a second. His fortunes improved in the Qualifying Trot Class (Race 5), where he steered Molly's Terry to a creditable third-place finish, stopping the clock in 1 minute, 57 and three-fifths of a second.
Later in the card, Waldron participated in a regular race, Race 9, in the Pace Class. Driving Miki's Big Guy, he secured a solid third-place finish, crossing the line in 1 minute, 54 and two-fifths of a second.
Waldron's return to racing at Hoosier Park saw him gain valuable experience across a range of horses and classes, marking a positive step back into competitive action.
