The Bermuda Squash Association Club Championships continued with a bang on Day 4, as two thrilling five-set battles had fans on the edge of their seats. In a stunning upset, Abigail Brewer, the Women's Open number three seed, took down second seed Susie Howells in a marathon match.
Brewer and Howells traded blows throughout the contest, with momentum swinging back and forth like a pendulum. Brewer took the first set 12-10, but Howells responded by winning the next two 11-9, 11-5. Just when it seemed like Howells had seized control, Brewer dug deep, claiming the fourth set 11-7 and forcing a decider.
In the fifth, Brewer showed incredible resilience, outlasting Howells 11-7 to secure one of the biggest wins of the tournament so far.
The drama didn't stop there. In the Men's B Division, Rocco Adderley and Hudson Ferris also went the distance. Ferris ultimately emerged victorious, winning 12-10, 10-12, 11-6, 7-11, 11-8 in a match that showcased incredible athleticism and shot-making.
