Bermuda celebrated last night after winning the 2010 National Lotteries Authority Caribbean Squash Team Championship (CASA) following their 4 – 1 win over St. Lucia in St. Vincent
Nick Kyme said, “I’m so excited, this just shows the standard of the juniors coming through in Bermuda, what a fantastic week!”
Micah Franklin was quoted as saying, “I’m so proud of the guys performances over the past week, the support from the senior guys has been great. I’m looking forward to defending the title next year!”
Chris Stout commented, “I’m so pleased I won my match today and to have won this title with the four guys. It’s a great achievement for us.”
Robbie Maycock said, “It’s a great feeling, we have been working so hard and it’s great to get rewarded for our efforts. At various stages all of us pulled out a win for the team this week and it’s just a fantastic feeling.”
Patrick Foster said , “What a great feeling! I’m so proud of all the boys, each one of them have pushed themselves all week in very difficult conditions and every point was hard fought throughout. We want to thank everyone at home for all the emails and text messages supporting us. It was great to know that everyone was so behind us. We are going to celebrate tonight, we’ve earned it!”
