After a scoreless first half the Wildcats took the lead in the 55th minute when Yvonna Osborne scored a Field Goal, but Ali Boylan equalized for the Wildcats in the 68th minute with a Field Goal.
The game would be decided by Penalty Shootout, after the first round of Penalty Shootout the score was deadlocked at 3 – 3, sending the game to asudden death penalty shootout. On the first Sudden Death Penalty Shootout Maya Palacio scored first for the Longtails, but Ryce Trott missed her shot for the Wildcats.

Megan Troake proved to be a handful for the Canaries as she scored a hat-trick of Field Goals, her first came in the 28th minute and then one minute later she scored again, she completed her hat-trick in the 59th minute. Jessica Hollis playing her second game of the day scored her third goal of the day when she scored a Field Goal in the 65th minute.
