The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey Season got underway at the PCC Hockey Rink with a single match.
In the season opener, the Devil’s Hole Diablos defeated the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 11 – 5.
Both teams scored three times in the First Period, but in the Second Period, the Devil’s Hole Diablos outscored the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 6 – 1 to take a 9 – 4 lead into the Final Period. In the Final Period, the Devil’s Hole Diablos outscored the Sinky Bay Sea Turtles 2 – 1 to make the final score 11 – 5.
The Devil’s Hole Diablos got 5 goals from Marcel Bouwens, while Bill Calko, and Hart Freedman both added 2 goals each, Theo Caimassidis, and Jeffrey Ingleman added a goal each.
The Sinky Bay Sea Turtles got 2 goals from Mathieu Desjardins, while Tom Duggan, Rob Osborne, and Kevin Mason all added a goal each.
