The Bermuda Field Hockey season got underway at the National Sports Center. Longtails 1 Pink Robins 0
In the season opener the Longtails edged the Pink Robins 1 – 0, the lone goal of the game came in the 43rd minute off the stick of Maure Van De Berg.
Hawks 1 Pirates 4
The Pirates defeated the Hawks 4 – 1, in the 6th minute the Pirates took the lead when Donnie Simmons scored a Field Goal, Simmons doubled the Pirates lead when he scored in the 27th minute.
The Hawks got themselves back into the game when Aaron Medeiros scored a Field Goal in the 37th minute, Simmons then restored the Pirates 2 goal lead when he completed his hat-trick in the 46th minute.
The Pirates would get a fourth goal in the 57th minute when Zakari Minors scored.
