The Hawks took the lead in the 3rd minute in the opening game of the day, when Noel Johnston scored a Field Goal, in the 17th minute Isabel Roe scored a Field Goal for the Longtails to level the match at 1 - 1.
Rory Pollett would give the Hawks the lead again in the 20th minute when he found the back of the net with a Field Goal, and then in the 54th minute, Mauro Van Der Berg scored a Field Goal for the Hawks as they would pick up the 3 – 1 win.
Islanders 1 Griffins 5
In the second match of the day, the Griffins defeated the Islanders 5 – 1.
The Griffins got a hat-trick from Alex Godet, with Mallory Towlson, and Jack Finley adding a goal each, while Nigel Deane scored the lone goal for the Islanders.
