The Bermuda Ball Hockey Association’s Fall Season got underway at the PCC Hockey Rink with a doubleheader that produced 13 goals on the night.
Alexandra Mosher Diamond Ringers 2 Frontier 3
In the opening match of the season, Frontier scored twice in the final period to earn a 3 – 2 win over the Alexandra Mosher Diamond Ringers.
Chris Grantier scored the lone goal of the First Period to earn Frontier the lead, but Adrian Stromberg scored the lone goal of the second period for the Alexandra Mosher Diamond Ringers to draw level.
The third and final period saw Frontier take a 2 – 1 lead when John Duda scored, it was soon 3 – 1 when Frontier got a goal off the stick off Christopher Merritt. Alexandra Mosher Diamond Ringers pulled a goal back when Bill Calko scored, but they ran out of time looking for the equalizer.
BDA Spirits 6 Positive Image Dental 2
BDA Spirits won the second game over the Positive Image Dental 6 – 2.
BDA Spirits got two goals from Christopher Jackson, while Shannon Gosse, Joel Neal, James Amaral and Jordan Gunter all added a goal each, while Positive Image Dental got single strikes from Jacob Notermann and Troy Dort.
