The International Street & Ball Hockey Federation’s (ISBHF) Masters World Championship 2020 that was due to played in the Czech Republic has been postponed.
A Bermuda team was set to compete in the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF) competition.
The ISBHF Board of Directors met with the leaders of our 2020 Events Organizing Committees (OCs) and established a plan together, in order to assess the viability of each event, resulting from Covid-19.
A period of risk and medical assessment, fact gathering, and review of key information based on the guidance of each host nation’s government and medical authorities, has been tasked to all these OCs for the upcoming 4 weeks. Final meetings will be held between April 24th and May 1st, on a host city by host city basis, to assess the medical status in the host nation and of each nation travelling to the event.
At those meetings in late April 2020, the ISBHF Board of Directors will make a final decision based on the status of each event. Announcements to the ISBHF family will be made immediately after these meetings.
