The Milwaukee Admirals defeated the Manitoba Moose 5-0 in the opener.
Andrew Kuzma and Robbie Bailey scored a goal each in the first period to give the Admirals a 2 – 0 lead.
In the second period Curran Trenouth scored twice to double the lead.
Kevin DeSilva scored the lone goal in the third period to make it 5-0.
Allen Americans 4 Muskegon Lumberjacks 3
The Allen Americans edged the Muskegon Lumberjacks 4-3 in the nightcap.
Jeffrey Ingleman scored twice, while Craig Rowat and Jacob Marchant added a goal each for the Allen Americans. The Muskegon Lumberjacks got single strikes from Jeremy Estey, Brandon Willett and Patrick Neal.
