The Bermuda Ball Hockey Season resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double header that produced 13 goals.
Calgary Hitmen 3 Guelph Storm 4
This opening game needed an overtime shootout to determine a winner. The Guelph Storm took a 2 – 0 lead in the First Period with goals off the sticks of Adrian Stromberg and Bill Mcclure.
At the end of the Second Period the score was 3 – 1 as Christopher Merritt scored for the Guelph Storm, but Scott Shannon pulled a goal back for the Calgary Hitmen.
In the Third Period the Calgary Hitmen would get strikes from Ryan Marshall and Jeff Sangster which sent the game into the overtime.
In the overtime period the Guelph Storm would get the all-important strike from JM Tremblay to record the win.
Rimouski Oceanic 4 Las Vegas Wranglers 2
In the nightcap the Rimouski Oceanic defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers 4 – 2.
Dustin Luck and Jeffrey Loper both scored twice for the Rimouski Oceanic, while Andrew Leavy scored twice for the Las Vegas Wranglers.
