The Continental Qualifier for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games concluded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Donavan Simmons in action officiating the Final between the host and Mexico.
Simmons along with Diaz Garcia Reinier from Cuba officiated the match that saw Argentina defeat Mexico 3 – 2.
Argentina took the lead in the 5th minute through a Tadeo Marcucci Field Goal, the lead would be doubled three minutes later when Santiago Micaz scored a field Goal.
But two goals in one minute saw Mexico draw level, first Jorge Gomez scored a Field Goal in the 14th minute and then Erik Hernandez scored in the 15th minute.
The fifth and final goal of the game came in the 20th minute off the stick of Argentina’s Lisandro Zago.
