Hong Kong managed to get a win over Bermuda to climb atop Group B4 with 5 points as the 2017 World Ball Hockey Championships continued.
That gives them a good position for the final round and the possibility to move into the B-pool Semi-Finals. Justin Reid managed to score two goals for Hong Kong before Graham sealed the deal. However, Matthew Lui was the star of the game with a shutout and multiple top saves.
Justin Reid Hong Kong forward said, “We came out strong. Big difference for us is how we started the game. In first period, we were strong and all guys played together as a unit. And we never let up our intensity. They are good team with good goaltender, but we have got lucky in few chances.”
Bermuda goalkeeper Derrick Holmes said, “It was not the result that we wanted. Hong Kong were really strong today. We hope that we can picked up for the next game.”
