In Women’s Division action at the National Sports Center the Longtails got a hat-trick from Freja Kermode, while Rose Simmons and Connie Betts added a goal each, while the lone Sandpiper goal came off the stick of Mandy Barker.
Swallows 1 Budgies 3
The Budgies picked up yet another win on the second, this time defeating the Swallows 3 - 1. The Budgies got single goals from Kascia White, Jaselle Smith and Samantha Davis, while Mallie O’Donald added the lone goal for the Swallows.
Men’s Division
Spartans 3 Pirates 3
Nathan Simons scored a 10th minute Field Goal to give the Pirates the lead, Jacob Matthews doubled the lead in the 25th minute with a Field Gold, but Mark Melo would pull the Spartans within one when he a Field Goal in the 39th minute, Michial Ming-Woodley would restore the Pirates two goal lead when he found the back of the net in the 43rd minute with a Field Goal, but Donnie Simmons would score a 57th minute Field Goal and a 70th minute Penalty Corner goal to earn the Spartans a point.
