Maha Clarke and her Queens University of Charlotte Field Hockey teammates traveled to face Limestone College.
After picking up an overtime win in their last outing Clarke and her teammates would fall 1-0 to Limestone College in overtime, moving their record to 3-3 on the year. Limestone sits at 3-3 on the year as well.
Following a shot by Limestone's Kate Remley that Queens' Miranda Childers turned away from the cage, Limestone would be awarded a penalty corner. Remley took the shot once more, scoring the game winner this time. Cassidy Coates tallied the assist on the play.
Queens’ best opportunity to put one in the net came in the 19th minute when Renee Smith put a shot on goal that was saved by Limestone goalkeeper Tabria Cochran. Smith's shot on goal was the only one for Queens of the day.
Childers had a great day in goal, completing play with a season high 12 saves after facing 22 shots.
