Alex Francis and her University of Western Women’s Field Hockey teammates continued competing in the University of Toronto Outdoor Women’s Field Hockey Invitational 2016.
They played back to back games picking up a win and suffering a defeat.
Their first game of the day saw them go down to a heavy defeat 10 - 0 at the hands of OUA Alumni.
Francis and Western then rebounded to defeat the University of Waterloo 4 - 2. Western got Tamara Evans, Lindsay Borrell, Teagan Rolf and Kristy Ross.
