The Phoenix Roadrunners have drawn level at 1 – 1 in their Series with the Indianapolis Racers following their 12 – 11 Overtime win.
The Phoenix Roadrunners got 8 goals including the Overtime winner off the stick of Jeremy Estey, while Jacob Amlong scored a hat-trick and Daniel Bordage scored once. Chris Merritt led the way with 4 goals for the Indianapolis Racers, who also got 2 goals from Mathieu Desjardins, Derek Winch and JM Tremblay with Yves Charbonneau scored the other.
Houston Aeros 11 New England Whalers 8 – Series Tied @ 1 - 1
Five goals off the stick of Andrew Curnow helped the Houston Aeros record a 11 – 8 win over the New England Whalers and draw the Series level. Joel Neal added two goals, while Chris Grantier, Greg Van Der Made, James Amaral and David Provost all added a goal each. Cameron Poland scored a hat-trick for the New England Whalers, Matthew Benson and Shawn Mckee both scored twice, with Adam Mattatall adding the other.
