The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League season continued with a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink with 30 goals scored.
HOUSTON AEROS 9 PHOENIX ROADRUNNERS 10
The Phoenix Roadrunner jumped out to an early lead and scored the winner in overtime to defeat the Houston Aeros 10 – 9. The Roadrunners held a 3 – 1 lead at the end of the first period, before moving to a 6 – 5 lead with one period to play. The Aeros outscored the Roadrunners 4 – 3 in the third period to send the game into overtime with Jeremy Estey scoring the winner in overtime.
Shannon Goose led the Phoenix Roadrunners to victory with 4 goals, while Estey and Jacob Amlong scored 2 goals each, Ryan Wilson and Owen Siese added a goal apiece. Chris Grantier scored four times for the Houston Aeros, they also got two from Andrew Curnow and Christopher Jackson, with Greg Van Der Made scoring once.
INDIANAPOLIS RACERS 6 NEW ENGLAND WHALERS 5
This game was a tail of two periods, following a scoreless first period, the New England Whalers jumped out to a 4 – 1 lead at the end of the second period, however a 5 – 1 run in the third period saw the Indianapolis Races come from behind to win 6 – 5.
The Indianapolis Racers got a hat-trick from JM Tremblay and singe strikes from Scott Ferguson, Chris Merritt and Shane Mckay, while the New England Whalers got a goal apiece from Cameron Poland, Pete Brodsky, Matteh Benson, Shawn Mckee and Jeffrey Ingelman.
